Holiday Inn Houston-Webster, an IHG Hotel

I stayed here for one night, January 15 to January 16, 2026. I booked in the morning and checked in the same evening using my Diamond Elite benefits. Check-in was smooth and welcoming. The front desk staff clearly recognized my Diamond Elite status, thanked me for my loyalty, and upgraded my room from a 1 King Bed Standard to a 1 King Bed Standard with a Sofa Bed. It was not a suite, but having the sofa made the room much more comfortable and relaxing. First impressions were very positive. The hotel feels spacious, and the floors smelled clean and fresh, which gave a strong sense of good hygiene. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable, making it easy to rest. The carpet does look a bit old and might not be ideal for walking barefoot, but it did not smell musty at all. It just shows some age and nothing more. I did not get a chance to try breakfast because I woke up too late, but the room itself was very quiet. I barely heard any noise from neighboring rooms. The only sound I noticed occasionally was from the hallway when other guests passed by or closed their doors. Overall, it was a very restful stay. Honestly, I am surprised this hotel has relatively low review scores on some platforms. My experience here was better than many hotels with much higher ratings. If there were issues in the past, they may have already been addressed, because I did not see anything that needed improvement. The price was also very reasonable for the quality. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This was by far the best Holiday inn we've stayed at in a while. June, Madison, Katie & Kelly were awesome! The hotel was under renovation, not sure why as it looked fabulous to us. Our room was perfect! We booked a standard queen room with 2 beds and because I'm Platinum Elite, they automatically upgraded us to a suite. No one has ever done this for me before! The restaurant/bar area was awesom too! Breakfast was fantastic! My grandson is ready to go back!

The hotel looks great its in a great location lots of food options around. The rooms were ok. I never stayed at a Holiday Inn I expected a little bit better but it was still good. There was a few small bugs in the pillows im assuming it was due to the high humidity we just sprayed some insect repellant and took care of that. Stayed here while going on a cruise at Galveston. Lyft ride is like 30min away not bad.

Rooms needs some renovations otherwise the hotel is great. Small indoor pool and hot tub was sufficient for kids and family. People at front desk were very helpful and ready to help.

Had a great experience at this property. From check in to check out. Looking into booking a party now in their spacious meeting space ! Thank you Holiday Inn! Will be back!

Hotel is under renovations. Carpets are being removed. Was not disturbed by renovations. Did notice some odors. They had a roof leak that has been repaired. Customer service was very good. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast and bar were good also.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful! They care about the customer's comfort and support. The hotel is behind Coldstone Creamery, Bon Chon Chicken, Chipotle and a great Thai Food Restaurant. Great location, great price, and a place great for family vacations!

The heated pool and hot tub were incredible! Service was great, and the room met expectations. We would stay again.
